In this video, learn how to enhance the look of your 9th Gen Civic with some MD Style Side Skirts. As of this video upload, these side skirts work with 2012, 2013, or 2014 Honda Civic 4DR sedans.

Summary of Important Steps of the MD Style Side Skirts Installation:

1. Start by applying some double sided tape to the back of the side skirt (   • PRO Design MD Style Side Skirts Insta...  . We recommend using fairly thin 3M double sided automotive tape. You will also need to "roughen up" with sand paper the area of the side skirt where the tape will go (WE DON'T SHOW THIS IN THE VIDEO BUT YOU NEED TO DO THIS).

3. Prep the area of the car the side skirt will install over. This involves first dry fitting the side skirt, then filing down an areas that interfere with fitment (   • PRO Design MD Style Side Skirts Insta...  . Also clean the area with rubbing alcohol so the tape will adhere well to the paint surface.

4. Start removing the adhesive backing from the tape, but only enough so you can later grab it to fully remove the backing from each strip of tape (   • PRO Design MD Style Side Skirts Insta...  .

5. Place the side skirt on the car and slowly remove the tape adhesive backing as your press in to secure fitment of the side skirts (   • PRO Design MD Style Side Skirts Insta...  .

6. Finalize the installation by putting in mounting screws in the bottom of the side skirt. Some minor drilling is required (   • PRO Design MD Style Side Skirts Insta...  .

7. Repeat the above steps for the other side.

PRO TIP: If you are going to have your side skirts paint matched to your car, DO NOT install them first! Simply dry fit them to make sure everything looks good, then get them painted, then start at Step 1 here. Remember also to not paint match the inside of the side skirts, otherwise the tape will not stick!
