Behind the scenes at Disneyland Railroad 3 Ward Kimball and the Orange Empire Museum

Ward Kimball was a well known nut job for most of his life. Impossible to say "best know for" because he was so well known for so many things. So here is a list of "Best known for's" Best known as a Disney animator, Ward was the creator of Jiminy Cricket, who many said he looked like. Best known as the head of the Firehouse Five plus Two, a dixieland band, who sold millions of records in the 1950'5. (When asked why they were called the Firehouse Five Plus Two, he would say, "because there are seven of us"). Best known for building a full sized railroad in his back yard. Never reached Chicago. Groucho Marx asked why anyone would build a railroad that didn't go to Chicago. Best known for his hard work with the Orange Empire railroad museum. Best known for helping Walt Disney come up with the concept of Disneyland.
