We're delighted and proud to announce our project and collab, which will take place on July 13 in Brussels. We wanted to bring you the pioneers of this movement that drives our passions today. If you don't know them, we'd like to introduce you to SP23:
SP23 Sound System, formerly known as Spiral Tribe, is an iconic collective of DJs and electronic producers, renowned for its major influence on the underground scene. Since its beginnings in the 1990s, the crew has embodied the spirit of freedom, culture and commitment of free parties. They have helped preserve this spirit by organizing autonomous events and encouraging active community participation.
SP23 began fusing techno, teKno, acid and jungle. Comprising artists such as Jeff23, Crystal Distortion, Ixindamix and 69db, they have been a veritable catalyst for free party culture. Through their tours and festival appearances, they have helped to spread and promote this culture on a global level, creating links between local and international scenes.
Their experimental approach and use of technology have inspired many generations of artists and helped push back the boundaries of what's possible.
In short, the SP23 Sound System crew has left an indelible imprint on today's free party culture, stimulating its evolution across the globe.
