Today the video is on how to select an option from a static dropdown in Cypress.

A static dropdown is when the values in the dropdown are fixed.

When you inspect the HTML code for a static dropdown the tag name always is select.

Using Cypress to handle static dropdowns is single and make use of the select method.

It is simple and straightforward.

You can also do an assert once you have done your selection from the dropdown just
to make sure you did the right selection
