How To Fix Call of Duty WARZONE 2 On PC & Xbox Stuck Searching For A Match In The Lobby - It Was PS5

So in this video I show one fix for the problem on Call of Duty WARZONE for PC and Xbox Series X where it gets stuck searching for a match and it wont get into a game and just gets stuck in the lobby. This happens no matter what Warzone game mode you are try to play, multiplayer, Battle Royale, Ranked games etc.

In my example the problem was actually my PS5.

So, my Xbox and gaming PC along with my PS5 are all logged into my Activision Battle.net account, Call of Duty account. Obviously so I can have crossplay between all platforms and to share progress, weapons etc.

However, on the PS5 you can switch off crossplay, which is something you can't to do on PC or Xbox. It's actually crossplay on the PS5 being switched off that causes the problem on my Xbox or PC where they get stuck in the lobby and stuck searching for a match.

As you seen in the video, as soon as I turn on crossplay on my Sony PlayStation 5, then I can then quickly get into a game on my Xbox. This is also the same for my gaming PC.

So basically, it's the crossplay function in Call of Duty WARZONE on the PS5 that interferes with the Xbox and PC. I assume this is something to do with all three devices being logged into the same CoD account.

Why the PS5 settings would have any affect on the Xbox of PC is a complete mystery to me.

I realise that this is a very limited use case scenario. However, if you play on Xbox and/or PC and also on PS5 and are having this problem, then try my solution as it may work.
