Tools used in the video:
- Torx head construction screws similar to these: https://amzn.to/33L1qXG
- Ryobi 18V Cordless Brushless Drill https://amzn.to/39dsFef
- These 6ah 18V batteries for Ryobi are a great deal - https://amzn.to/37DIiuX - They are less expensive and higher capacity than the 4ah Ryobi batteries (however, expect the capacity to be about 4-5ah, because these 3rd parties typically over rate their batteries).

We were installing new flooring when we came across this outlet installed in the center of the floor that we never used, and did not want to interrupt the appearance of our new floors. Since the outlet was surface mounted and extended slightly above the surface, I had to remove it and was left with a large hole in the floor that needed to be covered. Borrowing from a trick used for drywall, I was able to easily cover the hole in the floor such that it was flush with the rest of the floor.

The best part about this method is that I didn't need to crawl in the crawlspace to put a piece of wood underneath while someone else screwed it in from above. This hole filling method can be used in floors that have no access underneath.
