Piano lesson with Zoltan Kocsis - Rachmaninov 2nd piano concerto - Zongoraóra Kocsis Zoltánnal

Felejthetetlen, meghatározó élmény volt számomra Kocsis Zoli Rachmaninov második zongoraverseny-előadása, valamikor a nyolcvanas évek közepén.. ilyenformán életem csúcs-élményei közé tartozik, amikor (2008-ban) eljátszhattam neki a művet (megkértem, és igent mondott. A zongoraóra helyszíne a Müpában az NFZ próbaterme volt. A kamera lemerült, nem tudta végig felvenni az egészet.) Még mindig nem hiszem el... nem lehet ezt befogadni, hogy ő már nincs (vagy nincs itt), én azt hittem, hogy a 2012-es műtétje után nagyjából rendberakták.. :( Még szerettem volna beszélni vele, hallani a játékát.. Ilyenkor az ember ösztönösen előveszi és dédelgeti az emlékeit, mintha úgy egy kicsit még itt lenne..

It was an unforgettable, life-forming experience for me to listen to his concert of this piano concerto somewhen back in the mid eighties.. and, it was one of the peak moments of my life when he said OK after I asked him to go through this piece with me, in 2008.. we played in the rehearsal room of the National Philharmonic Orchestra. Unfortunately the battery of the camera wasn't able to record the whole thing. Now (november 2016) as I'm still deeply saddened and shocked by his passing away (that to me was very sudden, I thought he was more or less okay after his operation in 2012), still in the "I can't absorb it" phase, supposedly like others, I'm reviewing my memories with him, grabbing sand, wishing I could turn back time - and I have this feeling, "Zoli, I still would have had to talk to you, to listen to you, it was waaaay to soon.." :(((((
