The Bull Run is attempting to raise the bar for distance running. The Bull Run is a 75km course from the Yarra Valley to Melbourne CBD and is a race to put on the bucket list. However, the race can only go ahead on December 8th 2013 if the crowdfunding campaign between 15th of May and 30th June succeeds at raising the $400,000 necessary to close the roads and let the bulls run. If The Bull Run succeeds in raising the $400,000 required to launch it can then raise money through runner registration fees. The Bull Run is set to be the first crowdfunding success for a mass participation sport and the largest funding to date in Australia.
