Betony Kelly from STAMMA, the British Stammering Association, speaks with GB News about the poor representation of people who stammer in the media, this International Stammering Awareness Day, 22 October 2022.

For stammering to be accepted, and for people to stop feeling like they have to hide their stammers, TV, film and radio need to include them as presenters, actors, continuity announcers, producers, etc. For there is no diversity without disfluency.
