WORLD'S FIRST LARGE CARGO DOOR DASH 8 - Air Inuit Cargo Dash 8-300 in Montreal (YUL /CYUL)

Air Inuit becomes the first airline in the world to operate a
large cargo door variant of the classic Dash 8-300.

Air Inuit began work on this new cargo modification nearly 3 years ago.
Air Inuit currently operates 3 cargo Dash 8s (AID, UAI and AIW) but
this (AIW) is the only one with the modification; the rest have the "standard"
cargo doors.
Air Inuit has also purchased a 4th cargo dash 8 that will receive this
modification once it is certified. Currently AIW is in the flight test stage.

This new cargo door is 108x70 inches large (instead of the usual 50x60 inches)
The door is hand operated (not using electrics or hydraulics).
