Well, we were promised a mind-bending experience with WandaVision, and most would agree that the show has delivered so far, with its trippy hybrid of spot-on sitcom parody, Marvel procedural, and long overdue character study of Wanda Maximoff, one of the MCU’s most powerful characters.

The latest episode stayed true to form, with a climax that introduced us to Wanda’s dearly departed brother Pietro - albeit with a twist. We may have expected to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Pietro Maximoff (aka Quicksilver) in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but what we got was Evan Peters, who played Quicksilver in several recent X-Men movies - which any self-respecting rights nerd will tell you is an entirely different continuity that has never crossed over with Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Well, those days are future past now. And Evan Peters’ appearance has everybody asking - who’s next? The stars of the show have indicated that it’s not the only major cameo appearance to come, with cryptic hints dropping about an intense experience with an actor that nobody will see coming. In fact, some have likened it to the recent appearance of a certain Jedi in another major Disney+ show, The Mandalorian.

So who could it be? In this video, we run down some of the possibilities - some significantly more likely than others - and ask whether they’re a) possible and b) desirable from a character and story point of view.
