So a very, very common type of comment that appears in many of our videos has to do with joint procurement - and that the 3 Baltic nations should be purchasing military equipment together. For those who are pushing this idea, the general thought is that the countries, together, will have greater bargaining power and may be able to drive down costs per unit. Additionally, it is believed that there will be synergies from operating the same types of equipment - including a stronger supply chain, same ammunition, more robust maintenance abilities.

But some industry experts say that joint procurement for these small nations has it’s limits - and so this is the big topic that we’ll discuss for today’s video!
