FlipMods Elite How to Use EvilPortal with SD Card

This video will show you the files needed and how to set it up to get EvilPortal in Marauder working. This will not work with the EvilPortal stand alone app. This is only the EvilPortal that is in Marauder. Here are the steps if you prefer to read over them:

This is a little helpful document I wanted to make for how to setup Evil Portal.

In the root of this SD card, you will see a file called ap.config.txt. What this file does is setup the AP name for the portal you want to set up. All you do is open the txt file and replace the name you want to be displayed in the list of WiFi networks. Currently it is set up to "Elite" but you could change it to what ever your heart desires.

Next you will see an index.html. This is the html page that will be shown when you connect to the Evil Portal. If you want to use a different HTML page, you must remove the existing index.html from the root. Next rename the new one to index.html and put the this index.html in the root directory of the SD card in order for it to work. Both ap.config.txt and index.html must be in the root of the SD card directory. The root just means the initial directory so it is not in a folder.

Ensure you clear your AP list in marauder so it doesn't use the SSID List AP name when starting up an Evil Portal. This is the order it will select the AP name:
1) SSID list
2) Selected AP list
3) ap.config.txt from SD card

After ensuring that the AP List is cleared and that it will use the last option of ap.config.txt, you could start the Evil Portal in the Marauder application. Do not use the stand alone Evil Portal application if you would like to use the information used in your SD card. Marauder application is the one that uses the SD card.

When connecting to an Evil Portal, don't expect to be able to use networking features as that is not what it is meant to do.
