Cognitive Linguistics: 6 Construction Grammar

In this video, we look at constructions, form-meaning pairings and their role in language. Construction Grammar is a cognitive theory that takes constructions to be the fundamental unit of language. From morphemes over idioms to abstract syntactic pattern, everything can be accounted for using constructions.
