O gauge Live Steam - Wiltshire Aug 2021

There was a full program of 7mm live steam running from my open day in July 2021. Rafe opened the running with his as yet unpainted B6 making light work of twelve bogies. Trevor's Royal Scot took over the train and had a magnificent run. Graham's Excalibur started the running on the inner circuit at the head of a train of 6 Pullman coaches. In the meantime Jack was driving a Q5 to marshal a train of NER hopper wagons and the run on the outer circuit. John took over hauling the hoppers with his B16. With Rafe's B4 now pulling the Pullmans, there are several passing shots contrasting freight and luxury passenger. Richard Black 5 ran on the inner circuit hauling a train of Blue and Grey MK1 coaches. Th Pullmans returned to the inner circuit hauled by Andrew's Battle of Britain. Having had the hoppers hauled by two NER engines, Rafe showed how the GCR could handle them with his O5. I ran my GNR Atlantic on the outer circuit pulling a rake of Blue and Grey MK1s. The day was rounded off with John driving his coal fired GNR Atlantic at the head of the Pullmans and my Q6 pulling the hoppers.

Looking back at the day I'm particularly pleased at the number of passing shots. Its great seeing two trains snake past each other.


It was a blustery day so the sound quality is not perfect.
