Ingredients
Karamani chopped into1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces-250 gms
Onion chopped- 1
Garlic flakes -2
Green chilli -2
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Grated coconut -1/4 cup
Salt as per your taste
Oil -1 tbsp

Method:Take a mixer jar.Add chopped onion, garlic,cumin seeds, green chilli, curry leaves,grated coconut, turmeric powder.Make a coarse paste and keep aside.Take a heavy bottom kadai.Add oil, mustard seeds,add the grounded paste and curry leaves saute for 2 minutes.Add the chopped karamani mix well to combine. Add salt cover with a lid and cook for 5 to 10 minutes by adding little water.Karamani Poriyal is ready to serve.You can serve this with rice ,side dish for Sambar,Rasam and chapati..
