In this video, Joseph from Stewardship.com explains the story of Ananias and Sapphira from Acts 5. While the early Christians did share their possessions in common, this sharing was not enforced as it is in communist societies. The death of Ananias and Sapphira was not due to their refusal to share. They died suddenly when the other Christians in the Acts church became aware of their deceit.
