Making group delay measurements on frequency converting devices with an embedded LO is a challenging task. This series of videos will show how those measurements can be progressively improved through a series of 10 steps.
The instrument utilized for these measurements is the ZNA vector network analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz with option ZNA-K9, which addresses a two-tone group delay measurement technique.

This ninth video will address the benefits of using small attenuators in the measurement setup when making group delay measurements on devices with an embedded LO.
