Boardshop.co.uk takes a look at the new Firewire Double Agent Surfboard.

The Double Agent is a board aimed at a range of surfers from low level beginner to high level performers. The features of the Double Agent, to start with it has the famous Dan Mann spine running the length of the board which was what made the Sweet and Baked Potato so popular. The Agent is a wide board at 21.5 inches on a 5ft 8 with a pulled in nose and an extremely low volume tail, it is very flat with just enough flip in the nose and carries a wide point behind the center allowing plenty of volume under the chest. These features allow the boards tail to slice into waves giving it a totally different feel than most the other boards within the category. The Double Agent is an incredibly fast board, not only through the flat sections, but also through and out of turns due to the bite and hold of the knifey tail. This is a perfect board for anyone wanting to catch plenty of waves and have fun doing so, wave conditions with the Double Agent are knee high and up making it very compatible with 80% of European surf conditions.
