Kakeru and Haiji are the final 2 anchor legs for the Kansei University Track Team at the Tokyo-Hakone Round Trip Collegiate Ekiden. Between the support of each other and the sheer willpower of themselves, they manage to acquire a team victory like they have never seen before. In an unbelievable conclusion to an incredible story, the true meaning of running is uncovered for the whole entire world to see.
