Join me as I discuss three over-quilt options I use in camping.

The first is a real overquilt from Paria. It is expensive (around $170), but is a quality quilt with lightweight down. Many are over $250 and are not any more effective, so I highly recommend it.

But if you aren't sure you want to spend that much money or are new to hammock camping, you might want to adapt a cheaper sleeping bag into a "hack" overquilt. This Walmart Ozark Trail bag is the one I use in the video.

And you can even do another warmer "hack" version by using an actual mummy bag and converting it into an overquilt. The one below is the one I share in the video.

I have done all of these and they work. My first choice is the actual Paria quilt with the adjustable footbox, and I think it is the best overquilt for the price of all the quality ones out on the market.
