Today in Darbhanga, Bihar, I set out to meet Dalit, OBC, EBC, and minority students at the Ambedkar Hostel as part of our Shiksha Nyay Samvad—a dialogue focused on education, dignity, and justice.

But what should have been a peaceful, democratic conversation was blocked by the NDA government. I was stopped, my car was halted—but I walked. Because when students call out for justice, we must show up. No matter the obstacles.

Why is Nitish Kumar ji’s administration afraid of students? Why does a conversation on education and equality threaten this “double engine” government?
