Certified Management Accountant ("CMA") - Part 1 - How do I become a CMA?

I am creating this video series as I am exploring becoming a Certified Management Accountant ("CMA"). I am not being paid or compensated for creating these videos, rather, I will be using information from the Institute of Management Accountants ("IMA") as well as other exam review providers to the steps you need to take to become a CMA.

The Institute of Management Accountants https://www.imanet.org/ is the board the oversees the Certified Management Accountant Designation.

To become a CMA, there are several steps:
join the IMA as a professional, educator or student
once joining the IMA (wait a few days) and then sign up for the exam by paying a CMA entrance fee plus the exam sitting fees for part 1 & 2. Once you are a member of the IMA, you will then be able to receive the discounts when registering for the parts.
meet the education requirement (a bachelor's degree)
satisfy the work experience qualification
pass parts 1 & 2 within a two month window
comply the the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice
