NOW. I LOVE Newsies. Like... it's not even funny. I watched the movie version first, which I didn't really like like, cause Christian Bale is just Batman to me. BUT. Then I watched the musical version and I was hooked. Gawddangit Newsies. Let me go.
ANYWAYS. This song is relatable on so many levels, so I had to cover it. I couldn't find a cover that was actually in this key, so I figured I should try. It was killing. KILLING. But I did it. I don't get how the Jack Kelly's sing this every. single. SHOW. Also, after that fight scene? That much BREATH CONTROL AFTER RUNNING AROUND ON STAGE FOR LIKE... 3-5 MINUTES? HOW.
Maybe it is all in the hat grab... I didn't have a hat. So... maybe that was where I went wrong. I DID MY BEST.
