Glorifico Aeturnum - Royal Birmingham Conservatoire at UniBrass 2023

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire performs Glorifico Aeturnum (Dean Jones) at UniBrass 2023. The band came 1st in the UniBrass Trophy Section 2023. They were awarded Best Soloist for Stephen Parker (Euphonium) - Atlantic Flyway .

RBC Brass Band meets twice a week under the batons of Ian Porthouse, Matthew Ludford-King and Alan Gifford, and is comprised entirely of current students at the conservatoire. The band has a
particular focus on performing new and rarely performed repertoire, frequently using student compositions at UniBrass and concerts, and
recently performed as part of the 2022 European Brass Band Championships in Birmingham. Many of their players perform in some of the top brass bands in the country, and the Conservatoire enjoys a strong link with Tredegar Town Band as its official band in
residence.

UniBrass 2023 was hosted by the University of Warwick Brass Society.
