Hubal - Amazing mad major of WWII - epic american trailer

An action-war movie based on authentic story of major Henryk „Hubal" Dobrzański -- a deputy commander of the 110th Cavalry Regiment, a first partisant of World War II. After lost defense of Grodno, against Soviet invaders, mjr. Henryk Dobrzański disobeyed order to escape to Lithuania and fought its way towards the capital Warsaw. His regiment failed to get to Warsaw, before the city capitulation. To avoid his family being persecuted by the Germans, Henryk Dobrzański nicknamed himself „Hubal". His cavalry and ad-hoc infrantry continued the fight as a regular uniformed unit called „Separated Unit of the Polish Army", waiting for expected Allied relief. Germans used 8 000 people, to fight Hubal's 300 soldiers. In the spring of 1940, the remains of the „Separated Unit of the Polish Army" still inficted heavy casualties on German units. To counter this threat the German authorities formed a special 1,000 men strong anti-partisan unit of combined SS-Wehrmacht forces, including a Panzer group. On the April 30th, withdrawing Hubal's unit, was ambushed, and major took part in his last battle of the fourth war in his life.

A „Kleeberg" name, mentioned in the movie, refers to the Polish general Franiciszek Kleeberg, who won every single battle during the Invasion of Poland, and capitulated on the 6th october 1939, after his forces ran out of ammunition.
