SMG Builds Up A Animatronic Head Mask - part 1

A very interesting and informative video featuring surrealist make-up designer Screaming Mad George aka SMG displaying the entire process of building an animatronic head. From start to the finish, including very detailed look in all aspects of building the mask: conceptual design, life casts, making the underskull, sculpture, moldmaking and foam injecting, hair punching, construction the mechanics and final touch ups and puppeteering. SMG is famous with his unique designs and surreal creatures created for such films as the cockroach sequence in "A Nightmares on Elm Street IV: The Dream Master" (1988), Brian Yuzna's fleshfests like "Society" (1989) and "Faust: Love of the Damned" (2000).
