Resgatando Lombroso: a obra de Nicole Hahn Rafter

Estudar Lombroso é uma tarefa por vezes engraçada. A maioria das traduções disponíveis para quem não domina o italiano é, no mínimo, complicada; e, no limite, imprestável; especialmente pelas simplificações que são feitas do pensamento daquele autor. Na verdade, a minha real compreensão da obra de Lombroso só foi possível em razão do trabalho de outra pessoa – uma mulher simplesmente fantástica, responsável por resgatar a sutileza dos escritos daquele homem como ninguém antes conseguiu.
