Kate NV, the solo endeavor of ГШ member Katya Shilonosova, emerged in Moscow in the mid-2010s. Kate NV's musical palette weaves a spellbinding fusion of ambient, freak-folk, Japanese city-pop, intelligent pop, and beyond. Diverging from the sonic landscape of ГШ, Katya's solo project showcases rare sample packs of broken instruments from U.S. schools alongside her own improvised and looped musical discoveries.
