Mega Man X Perfect Challenge: Infinity Mijinion (No Damage, Buster Only)

Note: I use charge shots in this run primarily because it is impossible to defeat Infinity Mijinion Buster only without them. If you hit him with uncharged shots, he will simply regenerate the damage dealt to him, forcing me to use charge shots.

While Infinity Mijinion himself is the far greater threat, the difficulty of his stage is not to be ignored. Infinity Mijinion's stage is quite chaotic and can take a long time to master. The first of the two cables requires some precision and a bit of practice to defeat and the path to and defeat of the second cable can also trip you up if you make a small mistake. However, while the stage contributes to the difficulty somewhat, the fact that enough practice on it allows it to be mastered means it doesn't contribute too much. This leaves one thing as the primary reason this run is so difficult. Infinity Mijinion requires a ton of luck in order to defeat, and even if you get lucky you still have to execute well. You have to get lucky in order to be given the opportunity to lure Infinity Mijinion to the top of the screen when he uses the Ray Arrow so that you can invalidate his clone by having it off screen. This requires even more luck as the fight progresses, as the more clones there are at the top of the arena, the more unlikely it is that his position while using the Ray Arrow will allow you to get a shot at the top. While you wait and hope to get lucky, you'll likely have to deal with Infinity Mijinion's bubbles and his Charge Attack (the eight-way spread shot) that he loves to spam especially in conjunction with one another. These attacks alone can be tricky to deal with. Often times, at some point in the fight he will just spam these moves, not only making it very difficult to survive, but impossible to progress the battle safely. I feel like I can't really express well how difficult this battle is, but trust me, the luck and skill required are way up there. There's somewhat of a chance this run would have been a 9/10 for difficulty if the stage was free, however, the difficult to master stage combined with the ridiculously difficult Infinity Mijinion fight make this run reach the top tier of difficulty.
