This phenomenal, up-close footage of socializing sperm whales was filmed in Dominica. The clip features the youngest members of Social Unit A who entertain themselves and viewers with their rambunctious, tactile antics amid their playful vocalizations.

You will see Accra, Aurora, and Ariel descend with adult members of their family who settle deeper to sleep while the calves slowly begin to frolic, increasing their tempo and vocalizations as the clip unfolds. They twirl, roll, bump, bubble, and mouth one another with mock ferocity under the water and at the surface. (And yes, you will hear and see Accra pass wind at :46 - :49 seconds into the clip.)
