It's safe to say that literally everyone knows about Labubus by now but it's very hard to find genuinely useful info about them. So I hope this video will give a good overview of the Labubu hype! An important thing to bear in mind is that there isn't one single clue that can tell you whether a product is real or fake because counterfeiters are always improving their methods. But this should give you a good idea of the things to look out for.

In the video, I scanned a QR code from a Lafufu and that pre-loads a genuine authentication code. However the time and location was April 2025 in Beijing so that's clearly not correct. If you try to authenticate a Labubu and it shows a location that isn't yours then it's a red flag. If too many people try the same code then the page displays an error message which was also the case here.

A final random fact that I find hilarious is that those super cursed looking Lafufus with bald heads are called Chafufus.
