I bought both the Bestier and Pinmoco cross legged chairs and have some observations about both of them. For reference, I’m 5’8 and 170.

Bestier
Love.
Finish. The bentwood finish on the seat back and seat as well as the leather like material for the surfaces are beautiful and they wipe off with no issue.

Seat back. The support and curve of the seat back feels great.

Footrest. The cushion level is very solid and supportive and the size is really nice.

Height. The height adjustment of the seat is great. It gets almost level with the footrest and then also goes really tall.

Issues.
Seat. The curve of the seat would probably be fine for someone more petite than I am but it hit the outsides of my hips in a way that made me hurt after a short period. The cushion of the seat could also be better. It would be perfect if it had the same level of cushion as the foot rest.

Backrest. The angle felt like it was pushing me forward in the seat. If I was going to keep it I could probably bend the support a bit to adjust that.

The casters are very “slippery” on hard floors. Clearly not unusual but this type of chair can slide right out from under you if you’re not careful.

Pinmoco.
Likes and issues.
Honestly, I don’t LOVE anything about it.

Backrest. The shape of the backrest allows you to sit backwards in the seat whereas the Bestier doesn’t. Once I got the seat back lower, it sat better on my back but the curve of it was incredibly uncomfortable as it came. To make it tolerable I had to swap the Bestier seat support with the Pinmoco one, which allowed me to get the seat back at a lower place on my back. I also like that i can sit backwards with this seat back shape.

Seat. It’s got a thicker cushion than the Bestier, but it’s still somehow not supportive. I DO like that it’s flat and the size is fine.

Footrest. The shape is somewhat odd but not a dealbreaker. The cushion feels similar to the sear. Kinda cheap and not supportive.

Finish. The material, while still a synthetic like the Bestier, made me sweat, even through clothes.

TL:DR — I’m returning them both. Even after putting all the pieces of both chairs together into one chair, I still don’t love it enough to keep it.

Bestier: Great for someone with a more petite frame than mine. It’s truly a beautiful chair and I would have kept it if not for the curved seat.

Pinmoco: it’s cheap. It’s ok for a teen but not for someone who has to spend hours working at a desk.
