Milk Mochi merupakan kue khas Jepang yang terbuat dari tepung ketan. Sedikit berbeda, resep kali ini aku mau buat Milk Mochi tanpa isian dengan 3 varian rasa, original (susu), pandan, dan milo yang dicoating dengan kacang halus dan milo bubuk. Teksturnya yang lembut dan kenyal, cocok jadi camilan saat bersantai.

Resep Milk Mochi

Bahan adonan Mochi:
150 gr tepung beras ketan
225 ml susu
25 gr gula pasir
1 sdt garam
25 ml minyak goreng
50 gr milo bubuk
½ sdt pandan essence

Bahan coating:
100 gr kacang tanah, dipanggang / disangrai hingga cokelat
25 gr gula pasir

Langkah:
1. Campur tepung beras ketan, susu, gula, garam dan minyak dalam wadah, aduk rata
2. Kukus adonan selama kurang lebih 20-25 menit
3. Sementara adonan dikukus, haluskan kacang tanah sangrai dan gula pasir menggunakan blender
4. Angkat adonan yang sudah dikukus, bentuk bulat menggunakan dua sendok selagi adonan masih hangat. Lalu masukkan ke dalam kacang halus dan milo bubuk hingga tercampur rata
5. Milk Mochi siap disajikan

Japanese Mochi, Local Ingredients: Mochi Recipe in Milk, Pandan, and Milo Flavors

Milk Mochi is a Japanese snack made of glutinous rice flour. This recipe is a bit different as I'm making a Milk Mochi without filling in 3 different flavors: Original (Milk), Pandan, and Milo, coated with ground peanuts and Milo powder. The soft and bouncy texture makes this snack suitable for a relaxing time.

Milk Mochi Recipe

Mochi Dough ingredients:
150 g glutinous rice flour
225 ml milk
25 g sugar
1 tsp salt
25 ml oil
50 g Milo powder
1/2 tsp Pandan essence

Coating ingredients:
100 g peanuts, baked / roasted until browned
25 g sugar

Steps:
1. Combine the glutinous rice powder, milk, sugar, salt, and oil in a bowl. Mix well.
2. Steam the dough for about 20-25 minutes.
3. As the dough is being cooked, grind the roasted peanuts and sugar with a blender.
4. Set aside the steamed dough. Shape into balls using two spoons while the dough is still warm and coat with the ground peanuts and Milo Powder until the mochi is evenly coated.
5. Milk Mochi is ready to serve.
