Here I demonstrate a simple script that will allow you to, recursively, delete folders based on a name using AutoHotkey.
I initially wrote this because AHK Studio creates a lot of backup files but they all have the same name. This will loop over all the folders beneath what you select and delete any that match what you put in the variable name.

3. 01:18 🗑 Navigate to C:/temp and delete the folder to view deleted folders in Notepad.
3.1 Navigate to C:/temp, select the folder, and hit okay to delete it; notepad will show the deleted folders.

4.1 If no folder is selected, the script will use the default directory of where the script is located.

5. 02:25 🕰️ Timer used to update progress bar every 0.1s to avoid speed issues.
5.1 A set timer is used to update the progress bar every 10th of a second to avoid speed up and slow down issues.

6. 03:10 🗑️ If the file name matches, it will be moved to the recycle bin and the count will be increased.
6.1 If the loop file name matches the name being searched for, it will be moved to the recycle bin and the count will be incremented.
