Hello friends! My past couple of videos have felt a little bit uninspirational or uninspired to me. We need to change that and get our creative muscle exercised. I also feel like it has been way too long since I've sat behind one of my spinningwheels in earnest. So on my free Sunday I vowed to get creative and play! We're going to experiment with some solar dyeing, some dye afterbath solutions, we're going to spin some corespun and spiral plied yarn, we're going to scour more wool for future endeavours. All the fun fiber arts stuff all in one day and all in one video, yippee! Giving myself the freedom to play without the expectation of a finished project at the end gave me so much inspiration for future fiber projects. And in the end I had three new handspun skeins of yarn, who would have guessed that I would be spinning that much wool in one day?
