Chicane returned in 2006 with a new sound. 'Stoned in Love' , the first single to be taken from forthcoming album 'Somersault', is not so much a departure but in many ways an evolution of the classic Chicane sound. Although the dance element is still alive and well, the track displays a new rock/indie edge and signals a change in direction towards more 'song based' tracks incorporating strong melodies. It also features the unmistakable voice of Tom Jones.
