2850Si Silica and Phosphate Analyzer - How It Works

Описание к видео 2850Si Silica and Phosphate Analyzer - How It Works

This video on the 2850Si analyzer demonstrates the measurement technology and process of measuring dissolved silica concentration using the colorimetric silicomolybdate technique. It also highlights the analyzer's ability to monitor phosphate concentration.

The on-line measurement cycle begins with sample water flushing through and filling the reaction chamber, which is then closed off for the measurement. An initial zero calibration is performed to compensate for any changes in sample clarity or optics. Three reagents are then added sequentially. The final reagent produces a color change in the sample that correlates with the silica concentration of the sample and the measurement is displayed on the analyzer’s transmitter.
