EASY PLUM SORBET recipe⬇️

What a great way to use up extra plums from your garden! Though this recipe is worth a trip to the grocery store just to buy the plums!

Inspired by @davidlebovitz original recipe! You can search for David Lebovitz plum sorbet on your internet browser to find it!

Here's how I made it!
1 1/2 pounds (680g) plums
1/2 cup (100g) sugar, or 1/3 cup (65g) sugar plus 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 to 3 teaspoons Grand Mariner or vodka(or any liquor of your choice)
a few drops fresh lemon juice

1️⃣Pit plums and cook with skins in 1/2 cup water until soft (check out my Reel on how to easily Pitt Plums)

2️⃣Add sugar, corn syrup (if using), lemon juice and stir until sugar dissolves

3️⃣Add liqueur and mix well

4️⃣ Blitz till smooth in blender (skins and all)

5️⃣ Place in refrigerator until nice and cold

6️⃣ Pop it in your ice cream maker, following instructions for your machine

Scoop and serve - the beauty of it is you can eat it immediately! Store leftovers in freezer!

I love this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to balance out the tartness, but it is perfectly wonderful on its own!
