I put MiniMax M2.5 through the ultimate reality check using OpenCode and my custom BridgeBench framework. While the price is incredible, the real-world performance tells a different story. I break down the massive discrepancy between its high agentic benchmarks and its abysmal Coding Index score of 37.

We run head-to-head comparisons against Claude Opus 4.6 on the Creative HTML Benchmark—resulting in upside-down fish, broken neon signs ("OBN"), and diagonal bullets in Space Invaders. Is this model a "Benchmark Beast" or a hallucination machine?
