Xiaomi Yi External Microphone Mod | Action Cam Hack

The first Yi cam external mic mod! I modded my Xiaomi Yi action cam with a jack for an external microphone input. This is the biggest failing on the Yi, in my opinion, and in this video, we fix it!

You will need:
A microphone. Mine is a dual-mono ATR-3350IS.
A mic adapter - an excellent one is linked below
Small phillips screwdriver
A prying device
Soldering iron & solder
Some tea or beverage of choice
