I’ve covered the origin of the word Dehradun, the role of Guru Ram Rai’s “dera,” and how the region developed around that settlement.
The documentary also includes a concise segment on Tapkeshwar Temple—its connection to the Mahabharata, its role in local mythological history, and why it remains one of the most culturally significant temples in the region.

This video is part of my class assignment to create a documentary-style presentation.
