The staff here were fantastic, they were very welcoming and friendly. Paul especially made Isaac and ourselves feel very welcomed and appreciated, even taking the time to walk down to the turntable and talk to us about the different locomotives and other things.
Isaac really enjoyed visiting here and riding the 3 trains.

We visited on 7th May 2023, we travelled on 3 trains whilst visiting here. The first one was “Gazelle” 8304 - a LNER Thomson Class B1 Steam Locomotive, the second was a British Railways 92203 - 9F Steam Locomotive and the 3rd train was a British Rail Diesel Locomotive 47555.

To get to the platform you have to go up and over the bridge and past the model railway.

The train ride was 1 lap of the track, the points get moved by the signaller sitting inside the Signal Box and the the grounds of this railway are very well kept.
