Tonight the ABU TV Song Festival 2024 takes place in Istanbul, Turkey with eleven countries represented.

The 13th edition of the ABU TV Song Festival is this evening in Istanbul, Turkey. The event is returning to Turkey and Istanbul for a second time having last been held in the country in 2015.

The ABU TV Song Festival was held for the first time in 2012 and is a non-competitive showcase from across the Asia-Pacific region. Each participating broadcaster chooses acts to showcase their nation, with a mix of genres and languages to feature in tonight’s show.

Eleven countries and broadcasters will be participating in the 13th edition of the ABU TV Song Festival. Indonesia returns to the event having not participated in 2023, and Uzbekistan is back having last participated in 2020. In contrast, Sri Lanka and Vietnam who participated in 2023 will not be taking part.
