In this video we go through the basic set up, velocity calibration, and data collection using the Screening Eagle Proceq PD8050 multichannel ultrasonic pulse echo unit applied to concrete scanning and inspections.

This is a great tool for civil and structural engineers to identify embedded objects such as steel rebar or Post Tension cables, or to help evaluate concrete health by identifying defects such as cracks, delamination, or honeycombing voids.
