When Norton entered The Twilight Zone

Описание к видео When Norton entered The Twilight Zone

Here is the premise of the attached video:
Trying to find his way home after a dogfight in World War I, Royal Flying Corps Flt. Lt. William Terrance Decker lands at Norton Air Force base 42 years in the future. No one believes him when he claims to be from 1917, thinking someone is trying to put one over on them. Decker himself admits that before suddenly leaping into the future he was actually flying away from an serial encounter and leaving his friend in a lurch. He also realizes that he may have an opportunity to rectify that situation.
If it sounds that someone has visited The Twilight Zone, you would be 100% correct. In the fall of 1959 film crews snuck onto Norton AFB (that was supposed to be a base in France) for a couple of days to film all the exterior shots of the Season 1 Episode 18 Twilight Zone titled “The Last Flight” It is fun to see the C-124s. the H5, and the old main hanger. The old film is also a good reminder of what the smog was like 60 years ago

The film not good quality, but it was the best I could find. Still fun to see Norton 60 years ago.
