Marc recorded so many great demos from 1971-73 (and some later ones, too). This re-imagining uses drums sampled from original takes of Bill Legend’s kit. I’ve endeavoured to maintain that early-Rex sound (somewhere between Warrior and Tanx) by using Visconti-style strings and Mickey-style congas.

I’m a music producer and arranger from Wales, with a lifelong love of all things Marc. I made this solely for the enjoyment of other fans like myself. I’m making no money from it, and don’t see this as an improvement on the original - it’s simply an attempt to try and hear what the song would sound like if fully developed.
