Furry - Big Lick Comic-Con

Hi, I'm Waffle's and I’m a freelance Furry artist in the furry fandom/ community. I went to Big Lick Comic-con 2024 in fursuit. This is not only my first comic con experience but also my first time fursuiting at another convention outside of the furry fandom. I was a little anxious at first and didn’t really know what to expect but overall this was an amazing experience. I attended the convention with my fiance and met up with a local group of fursuiters which helped make it a lot easier.

Almost immediately, reactions were very positive, everyone was so nice, and loved the fursuit. I’ve always had this little bit of fear going out in public wearing my fursuit, especially hearing a few experiences others have had around it. This would be my second year openly wearing Waffles and so far I’ve had no issues and it's been a great time. I’m out to have fun and spread some joy in this world and consider this experience. I can’t wait to share more of The Sweet Life of Waffles.

I do stress that, if you’re going to wear your suits to a place or event, ensure that the event will support it and that’s super easy to do.
