Thirteen suspects arrested in connection with the CapeTown
construction mafia appeared in court today.

Two of the 13 accused are linked to the murder of city official Wendy
Kloppers. Kloppers was gunned down while conducting a site inspection
at a housing project in February last year.

They are charged alongside alleged gang boss Ralph Stanfield and his
wife Nicole Stanfield.
