The 22nd release on Breeze & Quadrat's on fire BQ Recordings sees Bulgarian producer Toppy returning to the label for his first single.

Toppy first appeared on BQ in March of 2011 with his remix of Groove Finders 'Open Minds'. Toppy's first single for BQ is entitled 'Vei' and it comes with a huge remix from Kay-D.

Toppy's original mix leads the package off with some really unique percussive elements and big spacey sweeps. This leads to the introduction of a large, spacious bass line; the atmosphere continues to build and after a short break some more prominent synth elements come to the front. It's a lush and wonderfully hypnotic vibe Toppy has come up with here particularly in the breakdown which is just a gorgeous soundscape of soft textures that you get lost in. Fabulous stuff from Toppy.

Kay-D's first appeared on BQ in April of 2011 with his huge but still remarkably dreamy remix of Aggressor's 'Arctic Sky' and he's back for his second outing as he provides the lone remix of 'Vei'. Kay-D has taken those big bass stabs from the original and reworked the bass line into something even more menacing. The pulsating low end has a big raspy sound and with tremendous drive, certainly a devastating big room presence. One of Kay-D's most unique gifts is how he can always work so many different vocal elements into a remix, this breathes so much new life into a track as opposed to just using the main parts and going with that. He's done just that here as there are a smattering of wispy vocal trails and angelic sounding snips that meld into the dreamy atmosphere perfectly. The breakdown has a marvelous sounding synth that bubbles and modulates brilliantly amidst the heavenly atmosphere before the tough kick and charging bass line drop back in for a large dance floor moment.
